Minau is a quiet, unassuming girl, content to be supporting to those who need it, never claiming the spotlight for herself. Minau as Sailorzyrni is just the same. Instead of being the one to attack openly, she prefers to work in the background, using her powers of healing and defense to the benefit and aid of her fellow Senshi.
Zyrni has saved their lives on more than one occasion, and indirectly proves herself to be a very important member of the Mendhaian team. Without her aid and defense, it's likely that many of them would have fallen in battle many times over.
Once moved to Tokyo with her husband, she forms a deep, abiding friendship with the innocent, ever-optimistic Sailorquillitia, Aquene Angeni, and the two become almost inseparable. She loves dearly each of her fellow soldiers, and would do everything and anything in her power to protect them, including giving up her own life. She adores her dance classes and performances, and carries the grace and beauty that is included with a career in dance. She is and will always be head over heels in love with her husband of currently less than a year, Darius Ksathra. He is her light and life, and always will be. Oddly enough, once it's revealed who they really are, it seems that Sailorzyrni spends almost more time protecting her knight, Odeiu, than he does protecting her; but this is due to the nature of the girl. Whether Sailorzyrni or simply Minau Jaleh, she is instinctively a protector, first and foremost. Innocent bystander and friend alike, all are under the care of Minau's watchful eye.
WARNING: The story of Zyrni's origin is directly tied to her life on earth in present day. Spoilers may and likely are present; proceed at own risk. As with the awakening, this is taken word for word from the Sailormoon Vengeance chronicle itself.
The Outposts were gone, the first two of the Midpoint defense guards destroyed. Ahurani knew that her world was next, and the knowledge was slowly driving her crazy as she was coming to terms with the realization that she could do nothing to stop it.
"I have to do something. I HAVE to!" she cried.
"Ahurani, NO!" Odeiu snatched at her arm as she ran away toward the chamber in the innermost heart of the palace that contained the Tarraphanite last ditch weapon. The Forlorn Dream.
"I'm required to as the heiress! So our people will die knowing that they kept Chaos from getting his hands on our world's treasure!" So deep was the love of the Tarraphanite people for the world upon which they lived that they would never surrender it to an invading force.
The combined will of all the people on Tarraphan could be combined and channeled through the Forlorn Dream to "poison the well" as it were. To render the world desolate. To destroy atmosphere and life in one, single blinding instant. And the people understood this to be a very real concern now. Ahurani had been asked via several correspondance chains from her ambassadors as the situation grew worse and worse on Tarraphan to use the Forlorn Dream. The people in their providences did not want the armies of Chaos to gain control of Tarraphan. The world's almost unnaturally high psychokinetic abilities stemmed from a certain type of crystal that grew only on Tarraphan and could channel spiritual energy greater than almost any other force in the universe. And the people did not want that power falling into the wrong hands.
"The people cannot be asked to give their lives without warning," Odeiu argued.
"We do not have time to discuss it with every single one of the six billion people on this planet, Odeiu," Ahurani replied quietly. She turned to face her guardian, one slender hand coming up to touch his face. "I love you...but we must do this. Before Chikatte's forces gain control of even the tiniest Aura gem. You know what it would mean to our people if the crystal on this world is used for evil."
He sighed, nodding. "I do...it's just..." Odeiu scowled, turning swiftly and storming a few feet away to look out from the balcony on the capital city. "I'm supposed to be the one protecting you," he said softly, leaning his back against the balcony railing. "And if you use the Forlorn Dream...then I can't protect you from the effects of it."
She nodded, eyes softening as she moved to stand in front of him, slipping her arms around his waist to lock at his back. "And I wish there were another way...but even if one soldier of their forces were to escape and find an Aura crystal...our people would be doomed anyway. I'd at least like us to be doomed on our terms instead of someone else's."
Odeiu chuckled softly. "You're protecting me again," he said softly. "And everyone else on our world. The Gods chose you well, I think."
She smiled up at him. "And you protect me...and you do a wonderful job of it. Just remember...we'll meet again. This isn't the end of anything." And she went up on tiptoes and kissed his cheek before stepping away and into the chamber where the Forlorn Dream was kept.
When the light of destruction for the purpose of the greater good had finally faded, there was not a living thing left on the world of Tarraphan. The cities stood tall, wind howling desolately around the empty buildings that were so devoid of life.
And in the palace, a figure with deep, blue-violet hair and startling, pale green eyes sat on a bench outside the chamber that contained the Forlorn Dream. The sad, pale eyes were focused on a pair of Starseeds in one hand, and tears were streaming down the delicate face of Euri, the Rain Goddess and patron deity of Tarraphan. "They were brave to the last," she murmured aloud.
'All is not lost, my gentle daughter. Our Fates have prepared for this day, and even now our Lady Fate prepares to spin a new Starseed where one shall fall. And they will live again, on a world far away from this desolate star.'
'I am grateful, Irrin. May I be permitted to attend my children in their new lives?' she asked, the tear flow stopping after long moments.
'But of course, Euri...all of you children are to accompany your chosen warriors to their new lives and destinies. Else who would guide them? Go, my daughter. And be well.'
'Thank you, my Father...I shall go with them. Teach them of their history. Of their heritage...their pride.' And Euri shimmered, becoming the little green and blue-violet tiger that was her totem. She padded away into the sky with the two Starseeds following after, taking her place in the roaming pantheon of God and Goddess as it swept through the heavens, tiny stars glittering in the black of night.
The Dream would not be in vain.
Life would be again.
And Euri would make sure they were taught. Of home, of hope...
Of love.

Minau was sleeping curled in her new husband's arms as they sat together on the sofa in their new apartment. They had just moved to Tokyo to finish out their schooling, and an odd series of events had begun almost the day they'd finished unpacking. Darius toyed absently with a few strands of Minau's vivid blue hair - an oddity she'd carried since birth - and thought about it. They'd been attacked repeatedly during their trips to and from the university by the strangest creatures that seemed made of pure darkness. They couldn't quite assume human form.
And they'd been mumbling something about something called an Abraxas. Darius had looked it up on the 'net when they'd gotten back, and the word "Abraxas" was a corollary to a legendary angel of vengeance with the body of a man, the wings of an eagle, the roar of a lion, and a scorpion's tail. What those weird creatures want with an angel, Darius thought to himself, I'm sure I don't get.
He sighed, making room when Minau shifted against him, moving restlessly in her sleep. Her brow was furrowed, slender eyebrows knit together as images played out in her dreams flickered behind her eyes. Darius began rocking gently, perfectly aware of her discomfort and knowing it was the fault of the odd creatures that had been attacking them.
"You do realize, of course, that this means you two have a destiny."
Darius blinked. Seated plcidly on the arm of the sofa beside him was a bizzare-looking little creature with the markings of a tiger, but the stripes were a dark blue-violet against striking, pale seafoam-colored fur. It WAS a tiger. Just...shrunk down. About a quarter of the size it should have been. Well, would have been. If physics had been applied. "As if being repeatedly mugged by things that aren't human wasn't enough," he muttered sourly.
"You ARE, you know, talking to a God." The tiger somehow managed to look irritated.
"Shall I bow? I'd have to relocate my wife to the chair in the corner, but it can be arranged." Darius was fairly certain that he was either going insane or had been introduced to some airborne hallucinogen that was making him see oddly-colored felines that weren't actually there. Therefore, he took the path that any rational, reasonable human being would take.
He decided to be flippant.
The blue-violet-striped green tail twitched in irritation. "Don't make me come over there. You wouldn't like it. Look. You two are special. Got a job to do to keep my crazy Uncle from destroying the universe. My name is Euri, and you are the reincarnation of the Knight Odeiu, protector of princess Ahurani of the world of Tarraphan." She waited.
"Now I know I'm crazy."
"Odeiu, don't start with me. You always were a wiseass. Look. Just wake her up, okay? Ask her what she's been dreaming about. Give her this," and a golden quarter-staff with an oblong gem of deep blue-violet set in the top appeared on the floor in front of the sofa, "tell her I said hi, and go look for Sailorabraxas. She can explain everything and trust me, Ahurani will know her when she sees her. I've got a staff meeting to be at in about fifteen minutes, and the last time I was late, Aunt Chikalle chewed me out for a week while Salmadh, Zirriph, and K'tet sniggered at me behind my back." She snorted. "Like I didn't know. Even if Hihana hadn't been giving them dirty looks while they did it, I would still have known. Hello, Goddess...omniscient and all..." the little tiger hopped down off the arm of the sofa and padded away toward the door, still muttering to herself.
And as Darius watched, she went through the door.
Literally.
"I have got to be OUT of my mind," he muttered.
Minau sat up. "Was there a little blue and green tiger in the room just now, dear?" she asked simply, gazing down at the staff.
He nodded. "Group insanity?" he asked of no one in particular.
She patted his shoulder. "Get your shoes, Darius. We have someone to find."
He sighed, mourning his lack of insanity. It would have been easier to explain. "Here's what I get for hoping I was just going mental."
